I'm interested in college but I wanna know what kind of average is needed as like a bare minimum.

Your last question was about Humber, so I'm assuming you're Canadian. Forget the American answers - "college" means any school you go to where there are professors in the states.

You could probably slide with a 60 or above. Just work the system. Colleges aren't all that difficult to get into.

Just like colleges in other countries it all depends on what you are looking at. The top tier Canadian universities are highly competative and require high marks, good recomendations and well though out applications. At the other end of the spectrum there are local and regional schools that are much easier to get into, these schools have much lower requirements for your average marks. You may wish to ask this question again, or edit in what you are looking for in a college, or what types of schools you are considering.

Cut-offs are getting higher and higher each year. See the link below for admission criteria at my university. You'll see that students entering Engineering had a 78% average, while those entering Business had an 80%. You can safely add a percentage or two for admissions next fall. If you want to go somewhere like U of T or UBC the averages will be slightly higher, if you want to go somewhere in the Maritimes the averages will be lower!
