I got it on Saturday and it is now Wednesday night, my eye looks just fine. Is it okay for me to go back to work?

Yes you can. As long as your eye isn't weeping and pink then you can go. Just make sure to wash your hands constantly and flow up with a lotion to prevent dryness. Don't touch your eye until all antibiotics are gone!

If your eye no longer looks like you have the pink eye and your no longer have a fever. It probably will be okay to go back. I have heard that the pink eye is contagious but I think as long as you don't have a fever, you are out of the woods with that. I hope all goes well with you. May God Bless

It could depend on the type you have. There is more than one form of pinkeye aka conjunctivitis.

See your dr. and ask when you can return back to work. And if I were you, I'd get a dr's note, just to be on the safe side saying you are clear to return to work. Some places require dr. notes if you are out 3 or more days or if you have a communicable (contagious) condition.

I got pink eye last year over the week-end when my doctor wasn't in his office. I went to the E.R. and the doctor there told me when the eye wasn't pink any longer I could return to work.

I was told when i worked at a daycare that if you didn't have a fever you were no longer contagious. Just keep taking your medicine til it's gone or you'll get it all over again.
