You could consider the Artic a desert. Anyway, I think the Artic would be worse. You have less of a chance to survive in the extreme cold and feet of sno and ice.

I'd have to say a. I live in the Northwest Territories Canada so I wake up every day in the arctic.
My mother used to say that when it get colder outside you can always put on more clothes to get warm but when it gets too hot you can only take off so much and then your still hot.

a) because in addition to having no idea where you are-a person can only live 3 days without water. at least in the artic you could eat snow.
