how is the apple store going to know you used limewire? i don;t think they can tell from looking at the ipod... yeah they can tell from you computer if it has limewire on it bt i dont hink they can tell from just your ipod
and even if they did apple cannot "get you into trouble" it would be the copyright lawyers or someone representing the artists whos songs you illegally downloaded...

Sir, If it's on your ipod they have no idea if you paid for it correct? does the song say "Paid" next to it? I'm tired of this Illegally downloading crap! for over 25 years we used to tape songs off the radio or I'd tape songs off of my friends tape. (isn't that the same as peer to peer) yes it is. This is nothing new. It's just a different format.

apple might have some sort of record of if you bought them from an iTunes store. If they don't see that sales record, maybe you could get caught. I absolutely think this will NOT happen!!!

yes, you can get in trouble. while apple may or may not do anything...they do have the right to refuse to fix your ipod because you put illegal content on it, and they may notify interested parties.. that's unlikely and apple knows you're going to put illegal music on it...still, you might open up a can of worms you don't want to deal with.
