An expository essay is an essay that defines a term. No opinion is involved. To include in an expository essay may be examples of it, defining what it is not, alluding to it, etc.

I think the best essay you could write would be "What is the meaning of life?" And even if you decide (yes, AS you're writing)
that there is no meaniing to life-----Charlie Chaplin said in one of his movies "Life is not a meaning, its a desire."-----the essay you write as youre figuring it out, will be interesting to others. And itll be nourishing to yourself.
