only want to record the music that is playing. example: a DJ is playing and wants to record the mix he's making.

The Creative Zen V. Its the only one that i know of that can do it, and i have it, it is great.

You can get them cheaper at Wal-Mart, but i dont think u can get the 8GB there yet

why not just buy a cheap CD player -r or the best thing to do would be to hook up a computer to the outputs on the DJ stuff, that would also let you do some really cool stuff useing Nero, anything from changing it to making it in 5.1 sound

a laptop will do just fine
