I have a hidden thing that makes me happy. I LOVE to sing... nobody knows it but i do. But I am afraid to tell anybody or do anything with it. i dont sing like rap or hip hop or anything... i sing alternative. I am a thirteen year old boy and i dont know what to do. suggestions?

when I sing infront of people I usally dont even focus on the people...I usually focus on the MUSIC...

Record yourself. Have some friends over, turn on the recording without comment. See how they react. If you're any good at all, take it as encouragement to get some singing lessons. Once you see that your voice isn't a bloody horror that should help diminish your fear. Good luck, man!

Sign up for Glee Club at school, or the choir. Ask for a karaoke machine for Christmas and practice, practice, practice! I love to sing too...and do so whenever I can.

just start doing it in front of a small group then take it from there
