I can say anything i need or want to in the most eloquent ways that you could imagine, correctly and succinctly. However, I don't know what a conjunctive adverb is, nor do I need to. I learned proper English at my mother's knee. The example that you gave is just fine like it is. Inserting the word 'reputed' into it would make it clunky and unnatural. Reputed means 'having a reputation for'. How would that not change the meaning of your sentence?
