I need some help with Tapping. Now I can tap on guitar, but when I want to add a little sliding trill with my tapping finger, its not "slippery" enough. I can do it with my pick, but I want to be able to do it with my finger too. George Lynch does this alot, and I was just wondering if I am not keeping my finger stiff enough, or I have to get guitar grease or what. Any shredders out there that can help me would be great.

Well, this is a good question. Most guitar stores do sell a string lubricant, but it honestly wont help a lot.If you have string cleaner, use that and get all the grit and grime off of the string.Itll make it a little lubed up too, so if you think it needs more for how you want it to feel add the actual string lube.Id also recommend that you dont use very low gauge strings for that. The larger surface area feels more round to me then the lighter strings, so its more comfortable at least.
Yeah, you do have to keep your finger pretty stiff.Theres not much I can help you with there.
