Acne is not a skin type, it's a condition. It's actually caused by a specific bacteria. I'm assuming you have oily to combination skin. You need a cream cleanser. Neutrogena has a really good line of products, that's what I use. You get cream cleanser, alcohol-free toner, and oil free moistuizer. You need to use all of these to get your skin healthy or at least less prone to break outs. If you don't use this specific line, make sure you still get the same kind of products...oil free. But be careful that you don't wash your face too much. The more you scrub, the more the sebaceous oil glands in your face are stimulated to produce more oil. Only use the cleanser once a day, and then just use a warm face cloth the second time. Moisturizer is really important too. Don't think it'll make the problem worse. You still need moisture, and you can only get it from a water-based lotion. I hope your acne clears up.

Well, if your're skin is acne prone, then you should try Proactiv.Cetaphil is also a really good choice. It really works. By using a cleanser, you have to use a toner from the same company, otherwise the different chemical components may act against your skin. So always make sure that the skin products you use on your face is from the same company. That way, you're skin looks better and doesnt look blotchy and no rashes or irritations.
