I was pregnant last year and miscarried at 5 weeks. I have a 5 year old son and i would like to get pregnant again before i turn 30 (I am 27) anyhow i am scared to try cause i think it will happen again. Also i have a uterine septum and if the egg implants on that it can cause you to miscarry. So for those that have miscarried did you miscarry again or not? I am so confused.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I've had 2 in my marriage and they are really really tough.

Your chances of having one the second time around go down almost 75% so don't get discouraged. I miscarried the second time only because of a personal problem with my uterus. You will have a baby - I know it!

You've had a baby already, and I believe the chances of miscarriage after only one prior miscarriage is the same as never having miscarried at all. Once you've had two miscarriages in a row, then there may be some concern about a reason. So go for it!

I would not be afraid to miscarry or you just might again. But yes I did repeat. The first time they think the baby drown at 12 weeks. I kept producing fluid instead of stopping like my body should. The second time they think it was due to a blood clot. So I am on baby asprin for that now.

i've miscarried quite a few times. but never in the same year. they were pretty sparatic. my friend though, she miscarried twice in one year and then a few months after the second one she got PG again and it was fine. I on the other hand do not have any chilldren, but i'm petite and my body just has trouble carrying. so you could miscarry or not. my doc always says to keep trying and eat right, drink water always and take folic acid. good luck
