dont worry yourself......on average a women will take 6months to fall pregnant.....gynos normally recommend that you try on your own for 12 months and then see a specialist....however if there are fertility problems within your or partners family you may seek medical advise earlier.....enjoy all the practice....

Each cycle you have a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant. That is to say, out of 100 couples attempting to get pregnant, 20-25 couples will get pregnant that first cycle.
You stopped the pill a month and a half ago. I will even assume that you ovulated once in that time (that may not have happened, it can take time for your body to readjust after getting off the pill). So you've had one shot at getting pregnant. And unfortunately you were not the 20-25% of couples who got lucky last month.
In other words -- give it more time, getting pregnant is not as easy as they told us in school.

First off, have you had your period yet after getting off the pill? And also, how long were you on the pill? Some women do not start ovulating for months (for others it takes up to 12 months) to ovulate after stopping the pill. And for others, like me, women ovulate right away. I was on the pill for 8 years and didn't have fun conceiving.

Don't worry! It can take up to a year for some women to get pregnant after they stop taking the pill. So I don't think that you have anything to worry about.

It can normally take 3-12 months to conceive on average. Sometimes after going off the pill/shot/patch it takes longer to get fertile and normal again as well. Don't get discouraged. Stress can cause you to not get pregnant. Relax and enjoy this time, and good luck to you dear!

I seem to recall you have a 65% chance of getting pregnant every cycle...took me 18 months and I had to take clomid. Start to worry when it takes you 8-12 months. That's what a DR will tell you

Depending how long you were on the pill, it may be some time before you can be fertile enough to conceive.
It took my sister-in-law nearly three years (as she was on the pill for 10 years)
