You are very pretty, so forget about the people that call you ugly.
Now about your hair...straight hair looks nice on you, but so many people straighten their hair nowadays, so you might try something different. I have curly hair, and am not too fond of it, so maybe you could do something to make your hair not as curly. I'm a girl, and I'm not a lesbian, so I personally don't know what would attract me about a girl. As a girl, however, I'd be attracted to a guy that stood out from the crowd, so I guess that might go vice-versa.

Your not ugly AT ALL. Some guys are just jerks, and others just have different tastes in girls and you don't happen to fit their category. In my opinion I think you look better with curley hair, straight hair is so mainstream.

i'm sorry that jerk called you ugly. i hate guys like that. anyways, i think it looks good flat-ironed. but when you flat-iron it, be sure to use some kind of leave-in conditioner so it doesn't fry your hair, and also before you flat-iron it, you could, while your hair is wet, turn your head upside down, and blow-dry it to add more volume, THEN flat-iron it. hope this helps!!
