I'd rather have a street smart, common sense conservative watching my back anyday. The only way you survive today is with "street smarts." You can't learn that in college.

My choice would be a conservative, Republican, NRA member with a concealed carry permit. As far as politicians go, George Bush is doing a great job keeping us safe. Bill Clinton allowed terrorism to thrive and grow during his years in office and I sure don't want Hillary in the White House.

Who would you rather have watching your back, the CEO or the guy working on the assembly line next to you? The guy who wants his taxes cut no matter the cost to society, or the teacher who stands in a classroom in the inner city earning a job that pays not much above the poverty line? The man who stood up and went to Viet Nam when his nation needed him, or the guy who hid in a National Guard Unit where showing up wasn't even necessary because it was nothing more than a place for rich boys to hide. Who would I rather have watching my back. A democrat any day because only a democrat understands the true meaning of brotherhood, of giving as much, if not more than you take, of protecting everyone even it it means that sometimes a few need to make sacrifices.

The military provides both street smarts and opportunities for college.

I would rather have someone with diplomatic skills, who weighs all options before going into war, plans for it if it is necessary, doesn't destroy our ability to gather intelligence by outing CIA officers, doesn't punish people for their points of view and who doesn't reward those who make mistakes... vote for democrats and let's fix this mess.

also most of the people in congress don't have "street smarts". most grew up in the suburbs. you can'have street smarts and be from the 'burbs.
