I love them, but I also get ideas of how to get away with things that I otherwise probably wouldn't even think of you know? Not murder or anything, but like this show masterminds. It pretty much tells you how to rob banks or casinos and stuff. Don't you think that all these shows really give criminals new ways and techniques to get away with things? I mean I could probably kill someone and get away with it with all that CSI has taught me!

I'm addicted to CSI (Vegas and Miami), A&E's Cold Case Files and The First 48 and I see what you mean about learning how to be a criminal but if there's one thing that these shows should have taught you is that they always get their "man".
Technology is so advanced now that all these cold cases from decades ago are being solved. You'd have to be an absolute genius to get away otherwise, eventually, you will get caught thanks to DNA.

I agree that if gives people ideas. A person in the town where I live was actually killed the same way it was shown on one of the CSI shows.
I am getting a little tired of the CSI personally but still have a hard time not watching CSI original.
I don't watch any reality shows except for Survivor and I am fed up with that one.
My favorite crime show is NCIS. That one is great. I love Abby. She looked so super last night dressed up like Marilyn Monroe.

I am a huge fan of CSI, NCIS, Law and Order etc...
You could look at it the way you are looking at it in the negative or you could do the opposite. If you ever witnessed a crime you could take the knowlege you learned from the show and be a very detailed expert witness.

i love these show i have found a second TV addiction i love the show first 48 on A&E on thursday and i watch CSI miami every night my hubby is addicted to its awesome seeing the fictious tv show but then seeing it in reality like the first48 it makes you respect the hard work cops go through.

i find them interesting..but what do i think. i think that there is no talent in tv land. all these shows are based on real case histories...so the criminals already not only know how to do these things..they have done these things...only the innocent are learning anything off these show...and that would be people that would never open an unlocked door...cos they wouldn't have even wiggled the knob...

no csi and them shows don;t show u everything,, you can never get away with any crimes,, sooner or later u get caught,, LOL
but i do love them all,,
i never miss an episode,,,
i watch them all ,...
it is neat to watch them and see how things are done,,

you are right, they also put much imformation on tv that terrorist could use aginst us. i guess they want more people to try it. guess jails are not packed enough
