It doesn't make sense.

The attacks on American soil have mainly been done by Americans.

9/11 was simply the result of overseas provocation.

Americans being in Iraq killing, raping, and destroying is, if anything, increasing the chances of more attacks on U.S. soil.

How can anyone beleive otherwise?

The U.S. is being too cocky. Other nations have learnt from war because they've seen the tragedies right infront of their faces. Americans (not all of course) support war because they don't know the harsh realities.

So, I'm almost positive that there will be more attacks on U.S. soil. Precisely because the U.S. is so militaristic now.

I don't know how they can believe it, either. People, like most creatures on this Earth, don't want trouble. They don't attack unless provoked. The "flypaper theory" as they like to call it, is tantamount to saying that going over and poking a hornet's nest will protect us from getting stung.

I agree.

Too many people including troops have the strange notion that the American troops are fighting for our freedom. Last time I check we are free.

I think the last point was right also, OUR government is becoming too militaristic, which makes terrorist groups very angry. We have more terrorists groups popping up all over the world and I wouldn't be surprise if there was another attack. That attack would probably be done by an frustrated American more than likely.

It's scare tactic seen in Vietnam too. They said if we don't fight communism over sea we'll be fighting commies in our nation in our backyard. It's just too vague and kind a crazy considering more people died from violent crimes than 911 since 911. And guess who dies from violent crimes, mostly poor under represented people, minorities, people without lot of power in washington dc.
