Chicago lakefront snowfall statistics?

Is there a source for the record of the snowfalls in Chicago specifically on the lakefront. I can find all sorts of records for Chicago, in general, but that is measured at O'Hare airport.

I located a climatological study written six years ago at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that draws on snowfall data from lakefront stations near Chicago. It's my reference, and it contains snowfall data for selected storms in a quarter century period.
