He announced his retirement. And in the paper today they ran a picture of him. He looks like DEATH. Does anyone know if he's sick? Maybe that's why he's retiring.

Bob is 83 years OLD !!! He also has plenty of money.
He can retire if he wants to.
All celebrities look like death in real life. Real life is NOT fliter glossed air brushed images you see in magazines, on TV, or in the movies. Just so you know.

I think he's just old, everyone retires! hes way older then anyone else when they retire, just let him be, I honestly think he is not sick, It would have been relesed "bob barker retires becuase of cancer" in the paper if he did. THE PRICE IS RIGHT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!

I am technically an old man, 64. When I was a kid, I think he had a radio show, maybe it was TV, called Truth or Consequences. It was so popular a city is named after it. So, he has to be that 83 or more someone mentioned.
In my family, we can barely walk when we're 83. So, I think he is probably ready to retire.

The interview that I just saw with him said that his cancer scare a year or so ago had nothing to do with his retiring. He just thought that it was time.
