I am curious to your age and menstrual cycle. I started getting migraine headaches at the age of 13. They came every month, with in an hour of the onset of my period. The older I got, the longer the headaches have lasted. The only time in my life that I havn't suffered from migraines, is during my pregnancies. The only other kind of headache that I know of that lasts that long, would possibly be a stress headache, or a sinus headache. A sinus headache can be as painful as a migraine. Depending on your location, and what the weather is like, could make the length of a sinus headache vary. Regaurdless of what kind of headache you have, I really think you need to see a Dr. and rule out the possibility of something more severe going on. If you do this, it might rule out a future stress headache!!! Good Luck to you, I hope you feel better. (Try a gentle massage of the neck and shoulders, and when they are nice & relaxed, work on the temples)

Your blood is too thick and your brain is not getting enough oxygen. Try going to herbdoc.com and learn how to cure yourself of ever having a headache of any type ever again. As well as healing your heart, stomach, lowering cholesterol 50 points in three days, preventing prostate, colon and uterine cancers, etc. Natures miracle herb is organically grown chili peppers that are dried and powdered so that you can drink it in either a warm cup of water or organic unfiltered apple juice.

When it comes to your head it could be anything. I don't want to scare you so, make a doctors appointment and talk to your doctor. If the pain is to much, go to ER. they will probably refer you to a neurologist but the neurologists know everything about the head and brain! Good Luck....

check it out with your doctor! in the meantime, research whether its:
muscle tension related
TMJ (tension in your jaw)
a rebound headache from taking a pain medication
the flu
change in weather pressure
eyestrain - could be something with your eyes.
