In Utah, 19 to smoke, 21 to drink, Beer & alcohol is not sold after 1am & the only public place to drink & smoke is the bars & clubs, in 2007 smoking will be banned from all those places-(when I drink, I gotta smoke! so it's not good.)

Soon the entire country will be like it is there in Utah. It is already that way here in Jersey. Stay home and drink, smoke up johnny.

Queensland Australia, 18 to smoke,drink and vote, 16 and a half to get your learners permit and six weeks after your license, Depending on the area you can get alcohol at the bar all hours, takeaways only until 10.00pm. Smoking is now outlawed you can only smoke in clubs and pubs designated smoking area which is always outside you cant smoke in public places like the beach, park or within four metres of any business premises. Surprisingly its amazing how you get used to not smoking when you drink.

You can legally buy cigarettes when you're 18
You can legally buy alcohol when you're 18
It is illegal to smoke in ANY public place, you have to go outside pubs and clubs although there are designated areas for this.
You can legally purchase alcohol up until 2am in a club
You can legally purchase alcohol in a bar until 12:30am on Friday Night, Saturday Night and Bank Holidays
You can legally purchase alcohol in a bar until 11:30 on weeknights and Sunday nights.
You are legally allowed to have children of any age in a bar or public house until 9:30pm.

In Illinois it's 18 and older to smoke and 21 and up to drink.

It's pretty much the same in Ohio. Smokers are losing more of their rights every day. I don't agree with this because I think it infringes on a person's right to freedom of choice. That's why I will be exercising my right to vote on Tuesday. I don't need anyone to save me from myself. The drinking laws are pretty tough also, but kids really don't need to be drinking.
