Because their fun weekend is over and they have to go back to work and do boring things.

It is the first day of the work and all the same routine weekly piles up and all hell breaks loose. People hate to return to work, getting the children ready for school, paying the bill, laundry, yardwork, doctor visits, cooking and much more. Now remember things sort of slowed down a bit cause the weekend was rest for some and people let lots of things go and resume all responsibility starting on monday like they are back on track running a race.

Because Monday is the day that most people have to go back to work. Most people hate to work, thus the hate for Mondays.

I used to, but now I never drink on a Sunday night so I don't mind them. However I find Sundays are $hit 'cause I drink Saturday night!
