The Outcast by Simon Hawke, its book one of the Tribe of one series.

it's a story about a man who is a half breed, he is left to die in the desert as a baby and is eventually brought to a hidden temple in the mountians and raised by the priestess'.

as he grow's it becomes aparrent that he has a tribe living within his body a group of indviduals that have desires and special powers. Occationally when they take over his body the cause more harm then good.

it's a really intresting book, filled with adventure, lust, mystery and drama.

best sci-fi book i ever read, and that scared me half to death, was the day of the triffids by john wyndham... i will never look at plants in the same way again!

i also really liked fahrenheit 451 (sorry, cant remember the author)

The 'Honor Harrington' series by David Weber is closer to Star Trek or Star Wars and more realistic.

I'll second the Ender series by OSC.

I'll also make a pitch for Dune, plus Ray Bradbury (my favorite is "All Summer in a Day").
