I stopped my BC the end of Aug, had a normal period in Sept. My husband was home from the 9th of Oct. to the 23 of Oct. We were sexually active almost everyday. My period was supposed to start last Sat, Oct. 28. Still no sign of my monthly friend. I have taken a HPT, with a negative result. Could I be pregnant? Or is my missing in action friend due to a different cause? Thank you all!

I know to use the 1st morning sample, I'm a lab tech. I'm not sure if the Dr. (I'm in the army) will take me seriously, if i go in and said I'm not sure if i'm preg, b/c I had a negative test the other day.

If i was you I'd wait at least another 2 weeks then try a pregnancy test if you havent received a visit from your "freind" you very well could be pregnant...but it could also be the pills i know u've had a regular period in september but sometimes they just go m.i.a after getting off the pill...goodluck to you...but your proably testing way to early to tell:)

I would think yes... I took a test four days in row and three were negative before one finally said positive! Use your first morning pee, the hormone is the strongest then.

It could be because you stopped taking you BC. You may want to check with your GYN to see, sometimes those pt don't pick up everything. It happened to me and when I went to my gyn I was 2 weeks along in pregnancy.

take another test, &see a doc
it can happen a preg test show neg but you are actually preg

i dont know how true it is but ive been told pregnancy will nto show up until the second month . . .if that helps at all, sorry im not a girl i dont know about these things

get a pregnancy test for gods sake they sell them at the dollar store just get one
