Morinho will take a dive to eject Barca by losing to weder bremen. Barca will win against Sofia. then the point tally will be Chelsea 10, Bremen 10, Barca 8, Sofia-doesnt matter. It will come to the wire.
last matchday chelsea will win aganst sofia taking them to 13 and barca will have no choice but to win to take them through as a draw will not be good enough- Bremen 11, Barca 9 and Chelsea 13 or 11(depending on a win or draw against sofia). This is a calculative risk that jose will take to see barca out of the race as he knows that it is only barca who can hurt them in the long run. Roman & Jose can buy talents with the amount of money they have to win the cup (ballack + schevchenko) but can never buy "HEART" or "PASSION" that barca have. Besides
'there can never be any pact between lions and men' - paris can deceive but achillies will win...so will Barca! nothing to worry.

I'm a ferverous barca fan but to face reality i fear they (alongside Arsenal) might be this year's surprise package!!! I just don't see Bremen lossing to Barca any where (CampNou or even if the match was played at Stamford Bridge) Ronaldinho is lacking in commitment, Puyol is finally showing us he is just human, Deco is unsettled, Rijkaard doesn't seem to understand Gudjohnsen is a better midfileder than an outright striker, leaving it all to Messi (too young & isolated to make the difference)

No - Chelsea can afford to rest a few players which may result in points for Werder Bremen in their next game. Barca will then have to beat Bremen to qualify - could be tough !

Ofcourse, Barca will qualify.

They are playing better now. And good thing is that they don't have to rely on Chelsea, they just have to win two matches.

And match against Breman is at home. So advantage Barca. I hope Rijkard plays Saviolla more.

BARCA !!! BARCA !!!

barca are the 4th best team in the world so i think the group will end like this
1 chelsea 16
2 barcelona 10
3 bremen 8
4 levski sofia

i am not sure whether barca will qualify because they have been draw in the difficult group with chelsea n bremen. chelsea is very influential team in europe n bremen is the best attacking force in europe. the bremen-chelsea match maybe is crucial to determine barca qualification to the next round. if the thing does not go in chelsea way in bremen, maybe barca have to say goodbye to their champion league campaign.

all teams in the group still has two matches left, so FC Barcelona's chance of progressing to the knock-out stage is still possible. the key matches would be the clash between FC Barcelona & Werder Bremen on matchday 6. this match will be billed as 'winner takes all' & it could be potentially exciting to look out for.

It will be very difficult for them to qualify now. But you never know anything is possible. They got a good manager.
