Right now, I'm in classes where I take subjects that are 2 years above my grade level. I'm in eigth grade, so I'm taking 10th grade courses. However every year I have to spend a week taking the TAKS test (TEXAS ASSESMENT OF KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILS). However it is now over the 10th grade material, but rather over the 8th grade cirriculum(can't spell) so my teachers have to spend a week or two review stuff we learned two years ago, and we are losing class time... so think that for me they are a hinderence.
