The mucus that came out was a clear and greenish. There was No blood. But it was very abnormal and very thick and sticky just like the plug.

With my son I was 3 cm. dilated and 50% effaced a week before I finally had him. When I went into the hospital with mild-med. contractions I was 4 cm. dilated and 100% effaced, so they decided to induce me. This was the night before my due date. I am 38 weeks +6 days pregnant right now. I have been 3 cm. and 50% effaced since Fri. I am actually being induced tomorrow since my labor with my son was only 1 1/2 hours long and I live 1 hour from the hospital. I would think you'd go into labor within the next week, but everyone is different. Good luck & congrats!

Sounds like your plug, but it could just be extra discharge which happens at the end...you don't need to call your doctor for this, especially because you will be seeing your doctor within the next 6 days I assume as you should be seeing him/her every week at your stage. The loss of the plug can happen all at once, or bits at a time...once it starts being lost or is lost, unfortunately labor will usually begin within the range of 1 day to 2-3 weeks. Sorry!

All i can do is put my input on it from what I went through.I lost mine and a month later is when my daughter was born.Don't go by what I say but just know that it can happen any time now.I was like you and was waiting for ever.Also I was wondering why my doctor didn't really care like I did but they know it will take time for some or not.I guess they just get ready.Good luck and i hope things go well.

You'll probably go into labor within a week. I lost my plug on a sunday and gave birth on that same thursday.

i lost my plug at 32 weeks and i didnt have my daughter till 43 weeks so no that doesnt mean you will go into labor
but you should let your doctor know

It depends I lost mine with my first daughter and had her the next day and the same with my second daughter, but with my son I lost it about 3 weeks before he was born.
