Of course it's because they haven't really worked, and have the silver spoon feeding from their parents. I have had to struggle to be where I am at today, and it was education that allowed me to get there. I have three of my own businesses with my husband who too is highly educated and a Liberal. Republicans have always wanted to control our incomes, and have removed any benefits my parents worked for for 40 years. They are a party of rule and that is the extent of it, it's not about freedom.

For the same reason all political parties fear. If the people were more intelligent, do you really think they would elect such self-serving corrupt individuals in the first place? No! But, you have to look at the majority of the population, people are sheep who only follow because they are to lazy to stand up for what they believe is right.

Because we don't allow the Democratic party to tell us what to believe, what rational thought is and for us to believe the Democratic party is smarter then everyone else and they know what is best for us. It's not fear it's freedom, we have it just like you, to believe in whatever ideology we choose.

the fear of knowledge, science and intelligence and rational thinking ......... is what the big oil companies and the arms manufacturer are looking for when they support politicians ....... AND THEY FOUND IT ALL ......... IN THAT STUPID MORON AND HIS PARTY!
with knowledge ....... anyone can see through their evil intentions .......... with science ............ the world would never be so dependent on oil .......... with intelligence ...... they wouldn't have invaded Iraq on a pack of lies ......... with rational thought ....... they would have realize the consequences of their actions
just think about it ............ who stand to gain anything out of this messy war in Iraq? the American people ?......... this war had nothing to do with anything
OR
the BIG OIL COMPANIES AND THE ARMS MANUFACTURER ......... do they gain anything out of this war ?
do not answer this question out of blind loyalty to that stupid moron and the party

Do you? They are facing many many difficult decisions here. I think right now, this country and others are facing very trying times and people expect a miracle to occur so things will just be "wonderful" again. I doubt if that will ever happen. There's such a thing as being realistic and being negative.

Do the words "George Bush and the Republican Party" answer your question. I mean, we are talking about intelligence here.

I have a doctorate, I do not fear knowledge. I believe in evolution and whatever else science can prove, so thats untrue. I do not fear intelligence, I believe its the only way someone can actually support what they believe in a reasonable way. I use rational thought and logic to come to my opinions and beliefs. I, by the way, am a Republican

Your question is a perfect example of why people like me accuse people like you of being liberal elitist snobs. No factual evidence is given, just a blanket accusation.

How do you figure? I don't see how President Bush OR the Republican party fear any of those. I know of not ONE Republican that fear any of them.
Do you have any examples or sources to back up your claims?

4 untrue allegations in one sentence. You are good!
I would love to discuss, but could you be more specific and provide some examples to support your statement?
