You want DermaBlend or another concealer such as that. Go to a decent department store such as Dillard's and ask!
The dark circles are caused by thin skin exsposing the blood vessels below your eyes. Don't "rub" your eyes, as you risk breaking blood vessels! Get sleep and rest, as it does help more than anything else.

u can always use concealer to cover it up. basically any concealer will work
Do you know what actually "causes" serious dark circles? I thought I did ... but I was wrong. Like most people, I thought dark circles were caused by hard partying, working late, being tired or simple allergies. But according to most research dermatologists, serious dark circles (the kind that make you look old, tired and exhausted) are about, of all things, the oxidation of hemoglobin (blood) in the capillary matrix of the peri-orbital eye area. What a mouthful!
These capillaries actually "leak" blood that begins to oxidize (through a process called hemoglobin degradation) ... creating a dark bluish-red pigmentation that looks distinctly like an ugly bruise.
What does all that mean in plain English? Tiny little capillaries deposit blood around your sensitive eye area. The blood turns deep purple and you end up looking like you just went 12 hard rounds in a boxing ring.
i didnt write that.
anyway, the product you are probably thinking of is Hylexin. its all over the magazines. (the one with that girl with black makeup under her eyes. its in a yellow box
and vote me for best answer :]

Don't know anything that you rub on and wash off and circles disappear. A beauty tip that works, is the yellow stick concealer. Yellow is blues opposite. Just add a little foundation over top and it hides blue circles under eyes.

make up is only to cover not to remove.
I have the same problem with you, it is hereditary, also.
skin care can help to make it invisibly..use eye cream twice time a day, before you sleep and before you makeup in the morning, and massage your eye area daily.
Makeup can cover your visible dark circle, I use Make Up For Ever Lift concealer, it's works best for me, it wont caked on or dry your under eye area. use it over your eye cream, then apply foundation over it and set with loose powder.
if you need more coverage use concealer before and after foundie, but use appropriate product that wont make you "cakey" or "heavy", I highly recommend Make Up For Ever.

Makeup isn't going to remove circles. Any kind of concealer will be sufficient. I personally use Bare Minerals. I like them, and it does conceal pretty well if used properly.

Have a good night sleep and don't stress out yourself too much. It would also help if you'd take good care of your skin by having a healthy diet or by using Cover Girl advanced radiance lotion sample. I hope these tips will work for you! Also, check out this site http://www.upkb.com/covergirl.php for product info and details.
