To divide fractions, flip the top and bottom numbers of the second fraction and multiply across.
(4/3) / (7/3)
(4/3)(3/7)
4*3 = 12
3*7 = 21
12 / 21 Simplifies to...
4/7

It would be so much easier to explain if I could write the fractions with a horizontal bar, not the slant. I will try.
4 7
- x - (this is supposed to be the horizontal division
3 3
Now multiply the 4x7 and put it over the 3x3
You get 28 divided by 9 which is 3 and 1/9

To divide by a fraction (7/3 in this case) you multiply by its reciprocal, i.e. 3/7
Can you do (4/3)*(3/7)? If so, I won't spoil your fun by telling you the answer.
But now I see someone else already did so!!
