no.
just so you know...the five second rule is completely false. It doesn't matter if the food just touches the floor and is immediately removed or if it sits there, its going to pick up the same amount of germs. So even if you eat something before 5 seconds, you're consuming the same amount of germs as if you left it there for 10, 20, 30 seconds.

I will follow the rule depending on what ground it fell on. If it fell onto some carpet that your dog peed on 2 days ago, no way in hell I'm picking it up within 5 seconds and eating it. But if it fell lets say in the kitchen which I thouroughly clean every weekend, then yeah no big deal.

I don't eat food off of the floor, if it's dropped then the dogs get a treat! My daughter is a different story! I have to keep her bedroom floor spotless beacause she takes snacks in there and I'm possitive they are on the floor all the time!!

i saw on Myth Busters that food is just as dirty after one second than as it is at 5, 10, 15 or 20.
The 5 second rule really dosn't help much
I'll it eat off the floor anyways

Who's floor and what is the food. Peanut butter or a cracker? Huge difference in what can stick to them.

No... if something falls, I throw it away... once it touches the ground, it's contaminated... Plus, I'm a germ-a-phobe!
