The first site is my personal favorite. Be careful before you lease a horse; make sure that you ride the horse at least 4-5 times (in different settings if possible), research into lease contracts (make sure it is clear to the owner what bills you are or not responsible for), and check out equine insurance companies (in case of injury or loss of use).

You may want to check you local feed and farm store, lots of people advertise horses for lease, or call around to the different barns in your area. Make sure when you do a lease that you have it in writing.

Forget web sights, go to your local feed store and check their bulletin board, or check out your local stables. Or you could place an ad in your local paper or at the feed store...........Looking to lease a horse.........
