A Civil Action is great -- one of the most gripping nonfiction books I've read. It's about a mass tort lawsuit. (The movie with John Travolta is very different from the book, fyi.)

I agree, Fast Food Nation is an awesome book, but only read it if you are ready to stop eating fast food burgers. It cured me of that habit.

I don't have a book, just a recommendation. Choose a band/music group that you like and read a biography on them. If you like them the reading will be easier and it will keep you entertained more.
