Just a little bugbear of mine - people who rate questions with a thumbs up or down, but leave no comment as to why. Why do that?

How can you tell if they haven't posted an answer? I find thumbs down to my posts irritating, but I guess that's the point of this place to get a mix of opinions and see who agrees with what... I'm certain, however that there are some little kids out there who go around sabotaging posts - not to mention posting insulting questions...

I suppose that's the flip side of an online service - you never know who you're dealing with. But for sure, don't take it personally, it happens to everyone (and in some cases I'm sure you feel like putting a thumbs down to an answer - see any of the bashing Qs) ;)

No clue. I don't even get ratings until I'm a level two.

Perhaps they are the same mindless folks who use the boards to ask trivial questions or post inane commens about other users on here.

I didn't know you could leave comments. How do you do that?
I would if I knew how.
