i want to buy some new cpus (opteron)?

I am considering buying a pair of opteron cpus. I am looking that the 246 HE models and they look good considering that i have a very limited buget and that i am upgrading from amd xp 2100 cpu. I will be getting a new mainboard also.

Does anyone have any knoledge of or experience with these cpus?

Since you're getting the opteron, be sure to upgrade to Windows 64 bit edition.

Windows 32 bit edition will work fine but it won't take advantage of the 64 bit opteron.

good option.
ya offcourse opteron from AMD has high speed and will give good performance.
