My rule is 2 days but my husbands is 3. We usually freeze left over just to keep longer if we know we won't have them in 2 days.

I think no more than three days if they are refrigerated immediately after being cooked, etc.

Do not let them set out before you put them away in refrigerator.

If you don't think you will want to eat it again right away, put it in the freezer. It is the same principle as the TV dinner - only you know what is in yours!

I honestly have a 2 day rule. If it's not eaten in 2 days, I throw it out. Just remember when in doubt, throw it out.
