In my Social Studies my teacher was teaching us about the 5th amendment. He was telling how if somebody was proven innocent that they couldn't be tried again in court. SO he told us the story of a man that killed his wife but was proven innocent. After proven innocent he told the press that he killed his wife. Do you know who this is?

Michael Lane killed his girlfriends two year old son in Salt Lake City in 1991. He was acquitted and fifteen years later he confessed to killing the child. Hope this helps.

First of all, they are not "proven innocent", they are found "not guilty".....there is a difference believe it or not. It just means that the prosecution did not prove his case well enough. Judging from what O.J. has been doing lately, I would almost say it was him, but I know that is not the case, yet.
