contacts for now, they don't hurt, they don't bother ( like glasses that go up and down when you're active), so they're perfect for the job
laser surgery, save it for when your older
the laser surgery is not perfected yet, still side effects such as not seeing so well at night
so by the time you get older hopefully it will be fixed

I'm only 12 and I'm getting contacts. I know what it's like to play sports in them. I play basketball and soccer and it's almost impossible to not get them broken. There have only been like six games and I've gotten them knocked off about three times. It's frustrating. Don't get laser eye surgery until you're older, and it's really expensive. Good Luck!

i would say go with the contacts. laser surgery is very expensive and has some bad side effects. contacts can be a pain sometimes, but they are so much better than glasses. also you can get cool ones that change your eye color!!! :-D have fun

Either glasses or contacts for now. You should really wait to do LASIK surgery...the office I work for does LASIK surgery for patients 18 and older (but recommend 21 years). We have done surgery for patients as young as 16 years with parental consent.

I really like contacts because they don't get in the way when I wear them (and I like how I look in them). It can be hassle, always having to put them in your eyes...I think you should try them out, though, because you'll probably get used to them. If you don't, then maybe you can talk to your parents about laser surgery.

Your eyes are still changing, so i'd wait until you were in your twenties for surgery, if your vision can be completely corrected with it. If the glasses really bother you that much, you'll have to get contacts, but be careful--my opthamologist once told me that they can scratch your retinas. Ask yours about it when you go in about it.

I would stay away from laser surgery. I knew someone who went from not a very bad sight to almost blind from laser surgery.

I RECOMMEND YOU STAY WITH GLASSES GET CONTACTS ONLY FOR SPORTS, BUT THE LONG YOU WEAR CONTACTS THE WORSE YOUR EYE SIGHT WILL GET. THEN WHEN YOU GET OLD ENOUGH GET LASER EYE SURGERY IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. I HEARD THAT IT IS THE SCARIEST THING YOU CAN DO....
