i gave birth 2 months ago i hadent had a period since i gave birth but i had sex twice unprotected and the following day i was bledding this looks like a period is it possible im pregnant due to the fact we had sex the day before my period started but i was unaware my period was going to start and if so how long should i wait to get a pregnancy test done after the bleeding stops

It is possible that you could be pregnant again. My sister got pregnant 1 1/2 months after having her baby. You should probably wait about a week or so after the bleeding stops to take a pregnancy test.

Basically there is two answers you can be or your not pregnant, there is one way to make sure of things and that is to ask your doctor. Since you gave birth only 2 months ago its hard to tell if it was a real period, and you are actually more fertile after giving birth. So its hard to tell. But your dr. should be able to figure it out.

See, the bleeding, if its a true period, means there is no pregnancy, since the fertilized egg could not survive without the attached "lining" adhering to the walls of the womb. Pregnancy test absolutely cannot show you pregnant if the lining of the womb is leaving your body.

If your breastfeeding that might be why you havent had a period. And usually you get pregnant two weeks before your period (but not always).

I think you should wait until you dont get your period next month to take test.

It is possible that the sex brought on the bleeding. Talk to your doctor to be sure, though.
