The "liberal" media loves 2 things, - "liberals" and even more so they love "scandals".
Sometimes they eat their young, - just to 'get the story'

A scandal to who? Republicans and Conservatives are claiming those are scandals, yet they did not vote for him contained in the first position. there have been far worse rumors and allegations made adverse to the President with regards to Benghazi till now the election. Afterwords, the worst scandals went away. back, how would which have affected the Democratic vote? What, we went after the Tea party?!? Democrats would have felt they deserved it. back, the election would were an same.

What a crock! Already making up more loser excuses? How come you were lauding all the coverage on Foley? How's it feel now that the shoe is on the other foot, pinch a bit? I guess when Democrats manipulate it's different. LOOK, Kerry has a long, long history of trash-mouthing American Servicepeople. He did in in the 70s, he did it in the 80s, he did it in the 90s and he did it last year with his bovine excrement comments about AMERICANS terrorizing Iraqis. When will you people dump this freakin' loser? As long as you keep supporting his elitist butt you're going to have his crap rubbing off on you. I, for one am enjoying watching you Democrats squirm

I don't understand why it is so difficult for the American people to understand that it is a FACT that if you remain under (un) educated and fail to understand your own country and its place in this world that you are doomed to repeat or continue the mistakes that have been made by this administration and therefore will be "stuck in Iraq" just like George the Wonder Brain!
Granted Kerry may not be the most eloquent man at the podium but he made a clear and valid point and need not apologize. I hear the words and not for a second did I believe that he meant that the soldiers in service are stupid, dumb or unable to think for themselves.
If the soldiers (not the good old boys in congress, senate, or white house with no service records) feel they should get an apology and they tell this to Kerry then I believe John Kerry would offer it up sincerely, but to have the Republican party demand it?! ?! - All they can expect to get is the one fingered salute!
The Mainstream media ought to be a mirror reflecting the truth. Joseph Howe (known as the father of freedom of the press in Canada) said something in his trial for libel against the authority that rings true for today...
"had not my own experience and observation, and the reasoning and calculations of much shrewder minds, furnished abundant proofs-had not grand jury after grand jury arraigned the system which they upheld-nay, had not my own labours as a grand juror abundantly convinced me that these charges were true, I should not have been standing here to-day to speak in my own defence, for I would not have dared to publish the letter in which their conduct was censured and exposed. And can they be so blind and weak as to suppose, that by punishing a printer, even if that were possible in such a case, the public, for whose benefit their doings were unveiled, can be hoodwinked and deceived ? Can their characters, be propagated by persecution ? They may expect much from the result of this trial ; but before I have done with them, I hope to convince them that they, and not I, are the real criminals here ; and I shall be mistaken if it does not prove the downfall of their imbecility-the grave of their corruption."
The media has a right and duty to report to the public - the subjects of said reporting cannot hide behind a veil of deceit if the reporting shows them to be less than solid of character.

Please hold on for just one moment. Don't you think it's time to give the American people some credit for having the ability to make decisions on their own?
It's time to start expecting fellow citizens to think for themselves. Every group, left or right, has demeaned the "sheep" of the opposite party. There will always be lambs, but lets start addressing, and respecting the voices of those who are awakening on both sides.
The "media" only has as much power as we give it.

Wow i never noticed that untill you said something. Hey remember when that republican did or said something that the media was all over. Kidda funny that no matter what party your in or for if you make a mistake the media reports it. Wait a minute thats what they do report!!! Well maybe one day both your parties might stop saying stupid things. Oh and for what its worth what Kerry said was not a joke it was an insult to everyone that ever enlisted to protect our nation.. Even if he had remembered "the punch line" it was not funny it was a weak lame @SS joke.

See that's the reason it's an issue: because you and too many other Democrats think it was about "misspoken words." It wasn't a "joke malfunction." It was an insult that you can't excuse away or pretend it didn't happen and convince people. It people are angry, and they should be, they will take it out on Kerry's friends next Tuesday. I hope those who are in the military and are state side, their family and friends, and anyone who respects them sends the Democrats a big message next week.
