Santa Claus.
Yeah, I know St. Nick was a real person, but the red-suited freak has been totally blown out of proportion.

I think the most influencial person who never lived are those children who die when they are in utero and when they are born. Why because they are never given the chance to make a difference to the world at large....who knows what they could have been and what they could have done.

I was going to say King Arthur (and all his buds) but in re-thinking I believe I'll agree with the Santa Claus offering, because for the last 100 years millions of children have been motivated by the threat of the god-like Santa "watching", and millions more adults have benefited from that - so the jolly fat man has my vote!

To become a person in the common sense of the word you must at least be born and be alive.
If you believe in God you may say that God is a person but then there is the question, "Did/does Jesus Christ the son of God live"?, "Does God live"? and "Does the Holly Spirit live"? (Trinitarian Godhead) in the sense of our understanding of the word to live or living.
Everybody who answers your question with, God, believes that God is a person that never lived. That includes Jesus Christ of course!
