I was wondering if early pregnancy symptoms resemble the flu? I'm six weeks along and feel like i have the flu...is this normal or could i be coming down with something?....thanks for your comments

I thought I had the flu when I first got pregnant. I was dizzy and nauseous. I laid in bed for 3 days and called out of work for 2. Then finally I took a pregnancy test to rule out the possibility. Wouldn't you know I ruled it right in. Go take a test. It's worth the $ for peace of mind one way or the other. Then if you are you can start doing all of the things you need to do to keep baby healthy (eating right, vitamins, ect.)

Pregnancy resembles the flu minus to body aches and fever. If you have those you need to consult your doctor right away and have them help you, otherwise, sit back and enjoy the journey to motherhood!
P.S. I had the flu two weeks ago and I knew it right away, I was 8 weeks then. Trust your body, you'll know if something is not right.

Well, if the flu like symptoms are queasy stomach then I would say it's the pg, but if you're referring to chills, fever, aches, etc, then I would it's the flu. Get some rest!

Yes, I am 6 weeks pregnant also and i feel like poop. Its called morning sickness but in my case and yours too its all day sickness. Plus the extreme exhaustion. I don't know why women say they love being pregnant? I feel sick and tired all of the time. I feel really fat and my skin is breaking out. I'll keep my fingers crossed so that you get through this phase quickly. Good luck. Congratulations.

sounds like maybe you have gotten a flu bug or something. you need to get to the dr and let them give ya something before it gets too bad cause pregnant women cant take alot of stuff for colds and such so catch it early!! good luck and i hope ya get to feelin better :)

You might actually having the flu too. I would call your doctor and tell them your symptoms.
