You aren't going to find anything towards NOT questioning coming from me! I consider myself a Christian, a person who has Christ within.... yet other Christians would find me a bit "radical" because of my independent beliefs. I do not go along with A LOT of what the main-stream protestant Churches teach- that ALL people live forever- some for suffering, some for eternal life- (I read that the Bible says ONLY those in Christ have life eternal) how can then ALL have life eternal.........I think the Jehovah's Witnesses believe along these lines.... There is a lot more, can't fit it into these spaces. But, as a youth, and young adult I questioned questioned and then some more. I think Jesus found me, rather than me deciding to follow him! He was the only solution to the dilemma of "what is WRONG with the human heart? Why are men so continuously so evil and hate-filled?" I could do nothing but fall on my face before God. I think questioning is very very healthy. I hate when someone says they are "A Catholic or Muslim or Lutheran" or anything, merely because "they were raised in it". Didn't they ever question it for themselves? People like that are what I would call "nominal followers of religion". Lots of them have not Christ in actuality. They have a religion, because they have seen it's value, morally, etc. I do not pretend that I have all the answers at all. I say let each person's life and who and how they act reveal the truth of what is inside. I believe that only God can (and will) judge each one for what is going on inside. Can ANY human really say that he is pure in all his motives? That they have done everything all their lives with no selfishness, no thing wrong? I found Jesus to be the only answer to this problem. And there was nothing for me to do- merely see the truth of the matter. Of course, I was a person who did believe in something spiritual, that perhaps there WAS something beyond this physical realm we live in... Dunno bout a total atheist who thinks there are NO spirit worlds whatsoever. But, questioning is a very good thing. Question away.
