Usually with my left hand on top in the middle. I do a lot of long distance freeway driving, and I find it more comfortable. I drive 10 and 2 when I'm on crowded streets or heavy traffic. Road conditions have everything to do with my driving style. I recently bought a hybrid, which also changed my style of driving. My speed is more even, and acceleration and deceleration is slower. I keep more distance between me and other cars when possible, so that I can coast instead of brake when traffic slows. It makes a big difference in gas mileage per tank.

Never 10 and 2 except during driving exams.
Use my knees when I need both hands for something else.
Usually use my right index finger when taking a turn.
I alternate my hands on long trips, and usually have the one I use at 6 o'clock. Keeps the blood from draining out of my arm.
Got me license at 15, was a driving instructor at 17.
Changed my attitude drastically after driving in Germany for 15 months in '82. Getting used to 135mph will do that to you. ;-)
Makes you feel very different about crawling along at 55 to 75mph

I use both hands, but not at 10 and 2, more like 9 and 4.

I'm a lefty, so I drive with my left hand at about 10, right hand resting on the bottom inside the wheel (if it's on the wheel). Of course, if I'm driving under bad conditions or anything else, I drive w/my hands at 10 and 2. When I'm sitting more upright, it automatically makes me more alert.

10 and 2 sometimes, if I'm on a long drive I find myself resting both hands at the bottom of the steering wheel.

A lust to make money regardless of the consequences to others. Money comes before EVERYTHING else. As for other posters here talking about honor and the family etc. all I can say is that they obviously have never spent any time in China. If they had done they would realise that these beliefs are completely wrong. Honor, integrity, truthfullness etc. etc. simply does not exist in the Chinese charecter. Dont believe the lies you have been told about the Chinese people, they have no place in the civilised world.

It depends on where I am and what traffic is like.
Relaxed:
right hand down by my side or near shifter (it's an automatic)
left hand at 9:00
More precise situations:
hands at 3 and 9

I drive like a bat out of hell with a white-knuckle two handed grip, and one foot constantly on the brake. Though most of the time instead of using my brakes, I prefer to just scream.
