Does the football become lighter and easier to throw?

They had that on an episode of Mythbusters. The ball travelled less further because of the decrease in mass and no change in volume. It was more susceptible to air resistance.

There has been controversy before over professional football teams have helium in the balls. It should make a difference, however small.....

Nothing ,it is too heavy... Because you know how they put helium into baloons, but they also use those other things to hold them down ..yeah i would say a football is way heavier than those little paper weight things. -Hope I could help-

I think that the ball will be much lighter, because Hellium is far lighter than air

You sound funny if you inhale the helium while filling the football. Otherwise, nada. (Now if you fill it with hydrogen, you may get a bigger bang out of the game.)

nothin really because on mythbusters when some1 kicked a ball with helium was the same distance as some1 who kicked a ball with regular air.
