usually it is about five days before your missed period. your body makes hcg ( a hormone) when pregnant. this is what the test needs to be positive.

It usually takes about a week to two weeks for implantation to occure which then will start producing the hormone hcg which is detected in hpt. That is generally around the time your period would be do to show up, if you miss your period take a test or call your doctor

I think you have to wait until about 4 days before your next cycle. I'm not sure any pregnancy tests detect pregnancy sooner than that.
Er, why did I get a thumbs down????

You have to wait until you have missed a period before you can take a preggo test. Conception is not something you can feel.

For the most accurate result you should wait until the first day you miss your period.
