First of all, when you talk about a nation you mostly refer to people, so please be very careful if this is the right question you wanted to ask!
Considering the present conditions, USA is the most powerful nation in the world not only because of the economical, military or political status, but also because it has the power to influence other nations.
Think about all the political issues in the world. You'll see that the USA is involved in all major political issues (and has the main word to say in most of them).
From the economic and scientific point of view, Japan tends to become the world leader (if isn't already). I see that they sit back, relax, mostly prefer not to state their political opinions and continue to advance on almost every open market.

I only say China right now, in the sense that they hold over 2 Trillion of our debt right now and buy 2 Billion a day in bonds. Also with issues like N Korea, it seems we are so pigeon-holed by China, and will likely not take any action without their approval. Don't forget where most of our goods are made and exported from, since we are no longer a manufacturing economy. Militarily obviously not, but that could always change with the previous conditions.

This is a very good question. It really depends on what type of power you are reffering to. I think the country that has the most of everything Power in decisions, weapons, wealth is the Jews(Israel) you asked yourself why everyone wants it. They are controlling everything right now. I think Europe is the richest, North Korea is loaded with md weapons. US is in debt ever since the depression. I think at the end, there i'll be just heaven or Hell.

It would not make experience to call an entire u . s . a hypocrite. it is made out of extremely some different those with differing recommendations. additionally, the persons who dropped the bomb on Japan are not an identical ones who're going after terrorists on the instant. conflict in and of itself is hypocritical, somewhat. somebody assaults you, what do you do? attack them returned. it is hypocritical by potential of nature.

no one could think that as we lead the world in almost every situation. The Europeans want to be the most powerful but their work ethics make it impossible.
