i put the songs on but when i plug it out of the computer the song aren't on. What am i doing wrong?

make sure you are using itunes or the songs wont be found.... you will have to format it using restore when you download itunes7 from apple.com x

you have to turn them into form for ipod, if not get itunes which are legal and work!
