maybe, but, there are a lot of young players coming into the tour and its becoming increasingly difficult for older players not doing particularly well as a result of injury and just simple lack of good performance to make it back to the top. In all, he could become a top 10 player again.

well, you never know, but it seems unlikely to be back in the top 10 any time soon. Being at the top, in fact, is such an ordeal now with about 5-10 young up and coming players in the top 30. Number 22, in the current conditions, is as good as it gets, just look at safin, for example(imho a better player than ferrero), struggling to get to the top 30.

Juan Carlos Ferrero hasn't been playing very well now. He hasn't won many titles or even reach close to the finals. He has the potential and the skills to go back to the top 10, but tennis is a very competitve sport and there are more greater and skillful players than Juan Carlos Ferrero.

If so, very briefly; say if he got deep in a GS or something, due to a lucky draw.
He's slightly past his prime and is lacking a couple of things to be a top 10 player. He would at least need to add one or more of the following:

1) transition game: the will to approach net on short balls
2) volley (after approaching net, see 1)
3) powerful weapon/shot (i.e. serve, return, forehand)
4) game creativity/strategy; he usually just goes side-to-side on opponents; very predictable.

No I think not! There are to many young hungry players out there and Ferrero sadly enough lack that edge to reach the top ten!

Ya I think if he worked hard but realistically speaking Gasquet is moving up in the standings and the much younger players will keep him out, if he can give his game a boost soon he can surely get within the top 10 again and maintain it.

He is playing better, had a big tournament over the summer where he beat some good player including Nadal I think. I would not be surprised if he stays injury free that he can do it.

he has potential but i think the people at the top 10 are better than him but i think he can be in the top 15.

no his time is over
hell definitely be in the top 20 but coming back to the top ten is a virtually impossible task for him.

it is unlikely with the current crop of young players. His strengths were his speed around the court and his forehand - both of which have diminshed with age.
