Ok, maybe not everyone, but there seems to be a lot of racist comments. Is this just to incite comments or are you lot really just racist?

By the way, I'm neither black or Muslim, I just wanted to stick up for them.

It would be good if everyone posted their names and addresses in conjunction with their racist comment so they could show that they stand by their beliefs and would welcome real debate to come to them.

I don't think I have ever seen someone being racist to black people on here - maybe i've been looking at the wrong questions though. A fair few about muslim people though. I think there is a lot of upset at the moment, in the UK anyway, about how much muslim people have integrated into the UK - like the veil debate and so on. Whatever is one of the most discussed topics at the present time, is going to spurt out all kind of views, and as people are on the internet, effectively hiding behind their computer they will say their real, often un-PC views. I bet half the people making the comments wouldn't say a single racist comment if sat at the pub!

It's not just Blacks and Muslims that seem to be hated a lot here there are also Gays and Latinos.

I think people like to think that racism has gone away but really there are still many racist people in the world.

It's just now society thinks it's wrong to be racist so instead of them being open about it they hid out on the internet.

You're right it's not everyone. but I know what you mean. I've had a few nasty comments in answers to some of my questions too. Not racist, but pretty thoughtless. Maybe they are trying to incite comments or maybe, there are some people who are just filled with hate. Most of the people who use this site are ok though and often very helpful.

That is absolutely right, this is what i think aswell. I see alot of racism to all colours, cultures, origins etc but the general racism is aimed at the people of the black and muslim ethnicities.

Sometimes im not in the mood to answer questions and am just looking around, but then i spot a racist question so i decide to answer, to say that you people are obviously uneducated, closed minded people with no sort of experience in dealing with real people of this world.

It's impossible to give an objective opinion without being called a racist. I'm sick of it. The term racist is over used and losing it's meaning. People spit it out at the drop of a hat without any real facts to back up their statement. People cry "racist" and it automatically becomes truth. Crying racism without knowing what you're talking about make the cryer look bad. Some will call me a racist because of my conclusions. No matter. I'm deaf to it. So in answer to your question. Maybe there aren't as many racists as you think there are.

I am an asian muslim and i have lots of friends and i hate no one.

Not EVERYONE hates muslims and blacks, that is an all inclusive term and shouldn't be used. How about why are there so many ignorant poeple in the world? That would be more appropiate of a question.

Yea, there does seem to be a lot of racism on this site. I bet they would never say these comments to our faces! But, all you can do is ignore it because there is always going to be an ignorant person on this site trying make trouble. A lot of it I think is that they don't understand us and they really want to without actually letting it be known.

Alot of people like to hide behind the mask of anonymity. I don't share Muslim beliefs but try and respect them because they have been made in the image of the creator. I have no problems with black people either. If it's any comfort Christians get crapped on alot in here to.

There's a few racists, but this is an unfortunate result of the uncertain times we live in today. Personally I can understand racism towards Muslims, and they are largely guilty of inciting it with a little help from the politically correct lot. We are happy to let them into our countries but they should adapt to our way of life, not bring their culture with them. You imagine what would happen if a church were built in Baghdad.

As for blacks, I know some people still are racist to**ers towards them, but I personally don't understand why. They are generally decent people, they work, they invite us to incorporate the best parts of their society with the best parts of ours as opposed to rejecting ours completly in favour of theirs, and although some hand round in gangs with weapons etc. so do some white people. I can no longer understand racism towards black people today.
