Actually Mongoose do fight -- they fight Habus (pronounced HaBoos). Snakes that are cousins to cobras. Short, fat and deadly.

Yeah there is a bunch of that. Chicken fights are now illegal in the United States, but at one time they were very commonplace. In fact, the White House used to have houses for chickens and several previous US Presidents would have chicken fights right there at the White House.
